Made slowly, for small humans.

Our story

Little Loom began at a kitchen table in 2021, with a single muslin swaddle for a first-born daughter. Today we're a small studio of designers and makers building heirloom-quality baby blankets from organic and naturally sourced fibers.

Why we exist

Most baby blankets are made fast — synthetic fibers, harsh dyes, polyester batting. They feel soft for a week, then pill, shrink, and end up in a donation bag by month six. We wanted to make something different: a blanket good enough to keep, folded into a memory box years later when your "baby" is suddenly five feet tall.

How we make them

Our muslin and cotton sateen are GOTS-certified organic, woven in a family-run mill in Portugal. Our chunky knits are hand-loomed in Lithuania from a merino-cotton blend. Our embroidery is done by a small studio in North Carolina, one name at a time. Every piece is finished by hand and inspected before it ships.

Our promise

If a Little Loom blanket ever comes apart at the seams, send it back. We'll repair it for free, for as long as you own it. The whole point is to make something that lasts longer than the baby phase.

Quiet, considered, kind.

We work in seasonal collections, not weekly drops. We use compostable packaging. We donate 1% of every sale to maternal-health nonprofits in the regions where we make.
